Once an underutilized sitting room, this 'office' stands out for its size, its beautiful built-in book shelves and its graceful large bay window; truly a work space to inspire. From there we move to the heart of the home; the expansive open concept back part of the main floor that encapsulates kitchen, dining area and living room in one incredible open concept space that ends with spectacular rear wall to wall, floor to ceiling lift and slide doors that were made by Bauhaus Doors and Windows. To accommodate those doors which effectively connect the garden to the house and extend the footprint required major structural work with a number of beams that run the width of the house. Those same structural beams were needed to open that sitting room to the kitchen. It is often the little things that really matter in a renovation, and the architect cleverly designed the ceiling in the main living room so that when you look out at the garden from the office everything is symmetrical and very focused on the centre panel of the lift and slide and ultimately to the back of the garden.

Second Floor
The primary bedroom at the back of the second floor is indeed one of the highlights of the house; a huge room with a wall of windows overlooking the back garden greenery, a wall of custom built in shelving (which includes and hides a full screen television), a beautiful antechamber with large closets and a sumptuous master ensuite bathroom. The ensuite features marble, heated floors, soaker tub and a separate double shower, giving the room a very generous feeling of space.

The second bedroom at the front of the second floor is itself a large room with three big windows overlooking the street. This bedroom also features custom cabinets with a built-in desk work space.
